Roots & Vision

The Rotary Club of Mangalore Seaside, part of Rotary International District 3181, was chartered on 10 May 2018 with a simple but powerful idea: bring together a vibrant community of Past Rotaractors and professionals under the Rotary banner.

Our roots are anchored in friendship, fellowship and service. Many of our founding members were Past Rotaractors who wanted to continue their journey of service while creating a space where professional excellence, community involvement and lasting friendships could grow together.

Areas of Service

• Education & Teacher Empowerment
• Children & Youth Development
• Healthcare & Medical Camps
• Vocational Service
• Community Welfare
• Youth Leadership & Rotaract

• Environmental & Sustainable Initiatives

Since then, Mangalore Seaside has evolved into a close-knit and energetic Rotary family. For us, Rotary is more than meetings and projects. It is people coming together, sharing what they can, and creating a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Vocational Service

We encourage members to share professional expertise, create opportunities for learning and mentorship, and use vocational strengths for community development.

Education & Teacher Empowerment

We support educational initiatives and recognise the people who inspire, guide and shape future generations.

Healthcare

We support medical and health camps that bring essential healthcare services closer to communities that need them.

Youth & Rotaract

Through Rotaract, Interact and youth-oriented initiatives, we encourage young people to develop leadership skills and embrace service.

Community Service

Our initiatives respond to local needs through educational support, welfare activities, humanitarian assistance and other service projects.

Fellowship & Networking

Joint programmes, community events and fellowship activities help members build friendships, professional networks and lasting connections.

Guruvandana

Celebrating the Talent Behind the Teacher

Rotary Seaside's Teacher Talent Competition — Guruvandana — celebrates teachers beyond the classroom by giving educators a platform to showcase their creativity and talents. It is our way of recognising and appreciating the teachers who shape future generations.

Chinnar Chilipili

A Celebration of Children

Rotary Seaside's Chinnar Chilipili Children's Festival gives children opportunities to explore their creativity and abilities through competitions and activities, while encouraging confidence, participation and healthy competition.
